3 Dead After Car Crashes Into Tree

According to (WFLA) – Three people were killed early Saturday morning after a car crashed into a tree and caught fire in Winter Haven.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Spirit Lake Rd. & Sheffield Rd.

Upon arriving at the scene, Polk County Fire Rescue said they found the vehicle completely engulfed in flames.
Once the fire was out, firefighters found three people dead inside the vehicle.
The names of the victims have not been released at this time.
The intersection is expected to be closed for about three hours as the Polk County Sheriff’s Office continues their investigation.
