AT least eight children have been killed after a Russian air strike hit a school in Syria.
Their teacher also died after a bomb hit a school in the Aleppo province.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the strike in the town of Anjara injured at least 20 people, including children.
There
have been heavy airstrikes and clashes between government and rebel
forces since Sunday in the region, which is controlled by a mixture of
moderate and Islamist rebels, the group reports.
Control of the City is split between government forces and rebel fighters since fighting began in 2012.
Russian
strikes are said to have killed more than 2,300 people since they began
in support of Putin's ally President Bashar al-Assad on September 30.
792 civilians are thought to have been killed in Russian air strikes since the end of September.
