Bank Robbery: Its High Time Our Banks Learn

Today's morning armed robbers in military gear stormed FESTAC Town, in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, raiding three banks along 4th Avenue.
The armed men, who reportedly came into town in speed boats through the local canal, blew up the security
doors of Diamond, Finbank and Access banks and carted away unspecified amounts of money.
It was learned that the robbers announced their presence with sporadic shootings which sent everyone in the vicinity scampering to safety. Several persons were reported injured in the process.
However, eyewitnesses said the robbers shot indiscriminately while they were been chased by Police and local youths as they made good their escape.
No victims of the fall out have been reported so far.

Cases of arm robbery has become rampant of late. What are the plans of the Nigerian Police Force to combat this issue?
On the other hand, they say experience is the best teacher yet our banks wont learn. I feel banks needs not just more, but well armed security personnels.
