appease Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate and
senator representing Edo North, Senator Francis Alimikhena, has visited
Okpella, in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State, to render
account of his stewardship
at the National Assembly in his three months
of service so far to his constituents.
He told his people that he was there to brief his leaders on the
journey so far. He described regular feedback as a major tool in
effective representation, stressing that his regular visit was part of
the fulfillment of his campaign promises to always remain a grassroots
senator and, not a senator in diaspora that was not accessible by his
people.
He said: “I am here in Edo North with you and my gate is wide open to receive and listen to Edo North people.”
He mentioned some of his achievements to include the construction of
the failed portion of Auchi Agenebode road, sponsoring of two bills,
motions, and provision of employment as well as continuous personal
assistance among others.”
"Hope the rest would learn and follow suit Or they will act the usual way? Which is; 'forgetting all about their people, but return four years later with gallons of oil, bags of rice and mouth full of lies."
I'm glad Nigerians are more aware now.
Change!!!
