"There's zero Photoshop on that photo," dad Paul Evers of Bend, Oregon,
told ABC News. "It's pretty wild because the comments we're seeing
online are pretty consistent with the reactions we are getting in
person."
Paul, 54, said a friend of his son Bobby posted a photo today of the
father-son duo dressed as each other for Halloween to Imgur, where it
quickly racked up 1.2 million views.
Bobby Evers, 26, told ABC News that he and his dad Paul work together at
a creative agency where they wore their costumes to baffle their
co-workers.
"It was probably the funniest day of my life," Bobby said. "We basically
stuck at each other's hips the entire day and saw people we knew and
freaked out every single one of them."
The two men said to prepare switching roles, they both grew out their facial hair, exchanged clothing and used makeup.
Because Bobby has long eye lashes, Paul said he wore false lashes to mimic his son's distinctive feature.
"We had a lot of fun," Paul said. "Bobby and I, we didn’t realize how
much our faces were similar. We laid one of the photos over the other
and it was a nice surprise for us as well."
While they didn't win a prize, Paul and Bobby said they plan on
continuing a sporadic tradition of dressing as one another in the
future.
