New York: Debris From Small Plane Found in Waters Off Breezy Point

Debris from a small plane was found in the waters off New York Wednesday night, officials said.

The debris, including a fuselage and smaller pieces, was found about half a mile off the shore of Breezy Point, in Queens.

Officials say the aircraft is believed to be a 4-6 passenger Cessna-type aircraft.

It was not clear if there were any injuries.

The air traffic control towers at JFK and LaGuardia airports did not report any missing aircraft.
