Child Sex Attacker Stuart Hall Freed From Prison After Serving Half His Sentence

DISGRACED Stuart Hall walked free from prison today after serving half his sentence for a string of sickening sex attacks on young girls.
The 85-year-old paedophile was jailed for a total of five years for abusing more than a dozen girls aged as young as nine.

The ex-Radio 5 Live football commentator was convicted in June 2013 of indecently assaulting 13 girls and his 15-month sentence was doubled to 30-months by the Court of Appeal.
Hall, of Wilmslow, Cheshire, was then given another 30 months in May last year after separately admitting indecently assaulting a 13 year-old schoolgirl.
During his first trial at Preston Crown court the former It’s A Knockout Presenter was described as an “opportunistic predator”.

The broadcaster had hoped to jet off for a new life in Spain after leaving Wymott Prison near Preston today, but his hopes have been dashed after he was barred from going abroad for two and a half years as part of his probation.
Instead, as a registered sex offender, the former BBC football reporter will have to remain in Britain to regularly report to police and probation officers.
His wife of 57 years has already quit their sprawling £1.2million Spanish villa-style mansion in Wilmslow, Cheshire, and cut the sale price to £995,000.

Hazel has been battling to offload the couple's property for over two years since the broadcaster went to jail in 2013 - but has so far had no takers.

It is understood he and wife Hazel were hoping for a quick sale so they could retire to either Puerto Banus or Marbella and blend in with the thousands of British ex-pats there.

A neighbour said: "It's no great secret hazel has struggled to sell that property.

"In her husband's heyday the house was worth a fortune but it's hardly surprising they have been unable to get rid of it bearing in mind what he had been up to.

"It's a huge shame because it is a magnificent property in an excellent location. It's a real bargain for anyone who wants a millionaire's property on the cheap."

In the 1980s Hall molested a nine-year-old girl by putting his hand up her clothing.
