The Playboy Mansion is reportedly going up for sale and the asking price has been set at $200 million.
The 6 acre Holmby Hills estate which was built in 1927 will reportedly be listed next month.
Some Real estate sources with knowledge of the area say the owners
are not being realistic with the asking price, adding that the house is a
tear-down and the real value is the acreage.
Agents claim that because of its history the Mansion could go for anywhere between $80 million and $90 million.
There are several strings attached to buying the house and it
includes, anyone buying it will be required to give Hugh Hefner a life
estate, meaning he can continue to live in the mansion until he dies.
Also prospective buyers can tour the property but Hefner’s bedroom is off limits.
