Former Real Madrid and two-time Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho is ready
to take over at Manchester United before the end of the season,
according to reports.
An inside source disclosed to a Spanish
website, COPE, that Mourinho has already signed a deal with Manchester
United to take over as manager, although he isn’t expected to assume
control at Old Trafford until the summer.
It is understood that
the current coach, Louis Van Gaal, is to continue training at United
until the end of the season, unless there is disaster in the near
future, reports the site.
United had a successful outing against Stoke with a comfortable 3-0 win, suggesting an improvement in form for Van Gaal’s side.
Many
fans of the Red Devils believe that Van Gaal is already a failure at
the club and wonder why he had not made efforts to succeed in his games
until now.
Van Gaal arrived in England with huge expectations from
the club’s fans following large trophy cabinet, but series of defeats
including the 5-3 defeat to Leicester City last term caused a huge
damage to his reputations.
