Today 12th October, 2015, the students of the University of Calabar protested in their school over lack of basic amenities like light and water in their hostels.

Imagine that in a renowned federal government university the basic needs which aids students to live and function are not available.
No water, No light. How would there shower or read?
Yet they pay fees...

Our university standards should be upgraded.
