West Sacramento police Officer Ryan Lukins tells the Sacramento Bee that the teenager was shot Saturday evening.
Lukins says there were several shots fired from outside into the home.
He says police are still investigating whether it was a drive-by shooting or something else.
Lukins says detectives didn't immediately know how many suspects may
have been involved or if there was an incident that preceded the
shooting.
The girl was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center.
