Leaked Screenshots Hint At Vast Improvements To The Snapchat App

SNAPCHAT is in for a serious makeover if these leaked screenshots in the mobile app's code turns out to be real.

According to the screenshots from the app's developers, Snapprefs - new audio and video calling features as well as new stickers for messages - may be coming to Snapchat soon.

The screenshots show a new design as well as accept and decline functions for audio and video calls.

Stickers can be seen integrated in chat which is similar to popular Japanese chat app, Line.

Snapchat’s CEO Evan Spiegel has previously voiced his admiration of how Asian messaging apps such as Line and WeChat make a huge profit by games and in-app purchases like stickers.

If the leaked screenshots turn out to be true, Snapchat would be competing with already popular services like FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Skype.

No word on when we can expect all these new Snapchat features to be released.

But it is likely to be available in the next update...

So maybe you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on it.
