Footage Shows MAGGOTS Squeezed Out Of Dog’s Flesh

THIS is the horrific moment a dog has THOUSANDS of maggots squeezed from its skin.

The ghastly video has captured what vets have called one of the worst cases of maggot infestation that they have ever seen.

The poor pooch, known as Bob, had been brought into a veterinary clinic in Gambia - after being left in filthy conditions by his owners.

Vets then squeezed thousands of wriggling mango worms out from Bob’s body. The worms had buried themselves under his skin and needed to be which had to be removed one at a time by dedicated staff at the Touray & Meyer Veterinary Clinic in Bijilo.


The worms were squeezed out by the vets using their fingers - while they can be heard telling off the man who brought Bob in, over his treatment of the distressed dog.

Dr Michael Meyer, who runs the clinic, explains to the man, who seems to work for Bob’s owners, that the infection of worms could only have happened if Bob had been tied up in a dirty place.

He says; "I am sure they tied it (the dog) up somewhere. This is bad; they only get it if they are sitting in the same infested spot."

Maybe they even forced him to sleep in the same dirty spot all the time. Or either tied or locked him somewhere where it was very dirty." He added.
