Notorious German Cannibal Who Ate His Gay Lover Describes His Gruesome Meal Of Human

Armin Meiwes, 42, described his first bite as 'very strange'.

A GERMAN cannibal who famously ate his gay lover has described the moment he tucked into a meal of human flesh. 

Armin Meiwes, 42, described his first bite as “very strange”, adding that he’d “fried a piece of rump steak”, which he ate with sprouts. 

Meiwes became one of the most famous cannibals in history when he killed and ate Bernd Brandes “with his permission” in 2001. 

Computer programmer Brandes, 43, had earlier posted an advert online offering prospective cannibals “the chance to eat me alive”. 

In a shocking new interview, Meiwes has given never before heard details of his gruesome act. 

“I decorated the table with nice candles...I took out my best dinner service, and fried and piece of rump steak – a piece from his back – made what I call princess potatoes, and sprouts,” he said. 

“The first bite was, of course, very strange. It was a feeling I can’t really describe. I’d spent over 40 years longing for it, dreaming about it,” he added. 

“And now I was getting the feeling that I was actually achieving this perfect inner connection through his flesh. The flesh tastes like pork but stronger,” Meiwes went on to say. 

The full interview will be aired in a forthcoming documentary titled: “Docs: Interview with a Cannibal”. 

Mewies became the first person in Germany to be charged with murder for sexual satisfaction, or ‘love cannibalism’ and was jailed for eight years. 

At his trial he revealed he had obsessed over the idea of eating human flesh since he was a teenager. 

On the night in question Meiwes and Brandes had sex in an isolated farmhouse before the latter took sleeping pills washed down with alcohol. 

Meiwes then cut off Brandes’ penis and fried it for them both to eat, before the latter spent the night barely conscious in the bath. 

After reading a Star Trek novel, Meiwes killed Brandes by stabbing him in the neck and cutting him into pieces - all of which he caught on film. 

He then buried Brandes’ head in the garden and kept the rest of the “meat” in the freezer, which he ate periodically. 

He was arrested in December 2002 when police were tipped off by a young Austrian student that Meiwes was a cannibal. 

Ironically he is reported to have become a vegetarian while in prison.
