Colony Of Giant Ants Nest In Ear Of 12-Year-Old’s

SHOCKED doctors are desperately trying to solve the mysterious case of young girl who has up to 15 ants emerge from her ear every day. 

Shreya Darji noticed her ear irritation last August and when dad, Sanjay, took her to an ear, nose and throat specialist, the doctor discovered ten ants. 

Two weeks later the 12-year-old complained of discomfort again and when she was taken to the ENT specialist, more ants were removed from her ear. 

This spurred her parents, who live in the Indian city of Deesa in Gujrat, to take their daughter to one of the top medical professionals in the region. 

Dr Jawahar Talsania admitted the girl's condition is one of the most surprising he's ever seen in his 32 years practicing, according to The Times of India. 

Her case has left surgeons baffled after they inserted a camera into the girl's ear, only to find no trace of a queen ant or an egg chamber. 

"The girl's case is very challenging for me, as I have never seen such a case, nor found it in medical history," explained the doctor. 

"The big ants must be biting her, but the girl did not event feel pain inside her ears. Besides, there was no damage inside her ear."

It’s believed that Sheryl is now to be kept under video observation so that medical professionals can solve the mystery. 

Sanjay, who believes there's no family history the condition, said: "It is not even the case that some big ants entered her ears by chance. It could not happen every day."
