Meet The Man Struggling With 'Tree Roots' Growing All Over His Hands

DESPERATE Abul Bajandar is hoping to find a cure for a rare skin condition which has seen him dubbed "Tree Man".

The 25-year-old suffers from a disease which makes it appear as if his hands are growing roots — when they are in fact large warts.

Abul is pictured in a hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh, also displaying the tree-like warts on his feet.


He suffers from Epidermodysplasia Verruciformis, which causes a rapid growth of cells on the outer layer of his skin — and is a disease he inherited.

He still attempts to live a normal life and has a job as a rickshaw driver.

Dhaka's National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery led the team working on helping Abul after he was admitted to hospital this weekend — and have convened a panel of experts to decide on his treatment.
